OK, one last hint. . .the name of this instrument rhymes with the name of a famous World War I poet's last name ;)

Yes, that is correct (that you got the correct answer, I mean. . .not that you're dense--which I don't believe you are  )

Right - would that be a question or a statement? (like, "find Keats in this picture")

I'd be hard pressesd to find a connection between Keats and tumbleweed, honestly, unless you're implying that he was dried up, uprooted, and blown across the continent to scatter the seeds.

(where's that anyway; looks a bit like my neighborhood)

It's a comment on this site in general

No, it's just a joke - a none-too-subtle hint that things are beginning to slow down here again

 I knew that's what you meant! This place is a GHOST TOWN. Well, if you all are interested in starting up the Keats trivia section again, I'd be happy to participate.

Also, I had this idea to have a little "poetry contest" wherein anyone who is interested would write a poem from the perspective of one of Keats's family or friends (or foes for that matter) relating to Keats and then we could post them--just for fun (so I guess it wouldn't be a true "contest" but something fun to do). Anyway, it's an idea.

P.S. That picture looks not unlike where I live! We have a million tumbleweeds that big blowing around. . .kind of difficult trying to swerve past one on the highway.

Just going through another cycle...."'tis always been thus, thus shall always be." If you stick around long enough you'll get to witness to the next sudden boom, and subsequent demise. That's the way it's been like in here for years :)

Actually, I seem to remember that it was about this dead just before you joined, then you and credo showed up and things got lively for a bit - and now the doldrums again!

What can I say; ventis secundis, tene cursum..

Huh??

Why, that could be anything.. On Visiting the Tomb of Burns? Or, To the Nile? Could even be the Eve of St. Agnes..

Why not?

Hey why not extend your trivia game to all questions? Why not subjects ad infinitum?
I'd like to know what people know or think they know.

Well that's an idea MD but this is the Keats section of the site so if you want to start a general knowledge quiz in the 'miscellaneous' section feel fee to do so :D
