Hello! I'm really glad to see that 1., this site exists just for fans of Keats!!! and 2., it's still active!

I'm a Young Poet myself, so I have no choice but to be drawn to poets and writers of the past like moth to flame. I write novels as well, and I find that my poetry writing and my novel writing influence each other, one enmeshed in the other... I can't believe this site has existed for so long! (Wipes my tears thinking about people admiring and discussing and truly just celebrating Keats' poetry for over ten years here, and for decades elsewhere in the world!!!) I may peek through some of the threads, although, using the words of Ms Poetess above, it feels a bit like reading a diary that isn't mine!
I became interested in Keats in the fairly recent past, actually, when I started writing poetry myself just a few years ago. (I'm twenty, now!) (Although I found an old essay from deep in high school where I wrote about Ode on Melancholy... Teen angst

) Something about the way Keats writes, in this dark, melodic way? speaks to me. He writes of beauty but without sounding overly lush. Or should I say, sounding overtly lush, as he manages to pull all the right details of a moment and enrapture the reader... How I wish I could write an ounce as well!!!
Hope everyone on this forum is doing well, and I hope to have some fun and learn a ton here!
