I'm not usually a Bond fan but Ben looks like he is going be a brilliant Q- just seen a clip on Yahoo. Think I'll go and see this new Bond film.

That must be the first film you've seen at the cinema in ages Saturn! I remember you posting you don't go much. Last film I saw was that House at the end of the street film.

Well I did go to see The Dark Knight Rises and Prometheus, and during the week saw Frankenweenie - I would love to go more but it's so expensive I really only go when it's something I really want to see.

Skyfall was good, but it's James Bond! Couldn't be further from Shakespeare!

I saw it also and really liked it, but I like everything I've seen Whishaw in! Skyfall was actually the first Bond film I've seen all the way through, and I most likely wouldn't have gone to the trouble of going to the theater to see it if Ben wasn't in it, which is odd when I think about it because one of my favourite shows on Public Television is MI-5 (I believe it's titled Spooks in England).
Have y'all seen Cloud Atlas yet? I enjoyed it more than Skyfall, but if I had not have read it first, I think I would have been terribly confused.

I saw Skyfall a few weeks ago and enjoyed it too. But I went with my colleagues and had to bow to the consensus and see it in German - watching Ben "talking" in German was a little... odd  . But I liked the scenes with him and Bond in the National Gallery, nonetheless; there were some great shots of London, too.

I wonder why John Cleese didn't continue in the role. He played Q's assistant in The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Q himself in Die In Another Day (2002)...

However Q will always be Desmond Llewelyn for me, such a lovely man & he had always had good chemistry with the different Bonds.
