I’ve tried but I fail at every turn
To lessen the fire but it wants to just burn
In a room full of people my heart will be true
But my eyes over all will seek out only you

From the moment I saw you a spark was ignited
My soul was enriched my spirit delighted
My heart was anothers but what could I do
Without even searching, my world had found you

But love is not easy that we both know
We tried and we tried but we had to let go
But nothing can break us for this love is few
And still after everything there is only you

Our hearts tried to move on but our souls remained
Entwined in each other where fate was engrained
And through every heartbreak and tear that we knew
For now and for always there is only you

Poignant poem. did not live to see-
who we are because of what you left,
what it is we are in what we make of you.
