Those who talk
in metre and rhyme; those servants of the Muse
who, singing of uncanny things, often use
their images couched in word to hasten us
away from base conduct to probus factus.
Through etheral verse poets serve to inspire,
comfort, and give example to those who desire
such things as relief from and, perhaps, cure of
the woes of our times.

Excellent stuff Virgillian, gets to the root of the mystical, prophet-like role of the true poet.

Good moniker by the way, I love Virgil.
