Cold cuts

Cold cuts.

And suddenly
All the words
Are a stack of
Nothing, left
In a corner
To silence
And to rot
As if they
Had never
Contained
Hopes, and
Dreams of
New love.

Love the syllabic verse/progression from the 4-3 even flow down to succinct lines of 2.. really ties the feel of abandonment together.
