Two years...

I can't believe it - today I've been on this board for two years

It's been a rollercoaster two years in my life and half of it has ended up on here in one way or another so this site has been a very important constant to me [apologies to those who have put up with my Janus-like moods - you know who you are!].

I may not post as much, write as much as I did in those days but since having the honour to be chosen by Thilo to be the administrator of this board I have taken a real pride in this 'job' and am delighted that there is a new, vibrant community on this forum which has raised the level of debate and creativity to a very high level indeed.

So thanks to all who welcomed me two years ago, and those who have supported and encouraged me since and those who today appreciate my humble contributions.

I couldn't do it without you people - thanks for giving an intellectual and spiritual home to a lost soul.

Saturn, thank *you* for keeping this board going through active times and slow times. I want to especially thank you for the things you've done for me, personally: Posting my pics of Keats House and getting all of them organized! Making my idea of posting audio files of Keats's poems/letters a reality with your putfile site--and growing that idea to include any Keats-inspired audiofile (I'm thinking of the lovely musical tributes to Keats we can enjoy!); and posting audiofiles I e-mail to you. That goes well above and beyond the call of duty Your message-thread ideas are wonderful and go a long way to help keeping this site alive. Mahalo a nui loa!

All this is new to me - I'm making this up as I go along.

What you read is what you get with me.
I try my best to be earnest sincere, helpful and well-meaning.

I'm just glad you guys feel I am approchable and helpful to you.

I've been on some forums where the mods/admins are really remote and scary almost. I swore thyat if ever I became an admin or a mod I would not be like those people.

Remember I am just a facilitator, not really an initiator.
I'm here to cater for your needs, not my own [welll maybe sometimes ].
